Requirements & Definitions
During the requirements gathering phase a client is met to understand the client’s business needs and what they hope to accomplish with their project. The ultimate goal of initial meetings are to obtain and define business rules to utilize in later phases of project work.
The UX strategy phase involves aspects of user research and information architecture. Understanding aspects of the user demographics drives the content strategy when planning the content across the project. UX strategy deliverables include user personas, user stories, site maps, wire frames, process flows, and prototypes.
Validation & Optimization
The validation & optimization phase tests users against the assumptions that have been made during the course a project. The goal is to utilize user feedback to improve upon the experience that has already been created up till testing occurs. Testing can be performed intermittently during the course of a project.
